Hi All,
I hope you are well.
I am preparing timber for my patio and I just use some mahogany wood stain on the timber posts.
On a YT video I saw a man applying a No Nonsense water repellent on top of that. I think it's a good idea but I don't know how to proceed.
I did sand the surface with 240 grid sandpaper between each coat of stain but should I sand it before the repellent / between each coat of repellent?
I think so since the wood stain makes it quite smooth and repellent won't key in properly.
What do you think?
Thank you
