I am building a climbing frame and swing for my grand kids. I will be using Jump poles for the main frame, and softwood for the rest. I have available a lot of free / cheap softwood.
The jump poles re pressure treated with a faintly green stain.
What would you guys recommend to stain the (mainly) virgin wood? Are cheaper "own brands" any good. I was looking at Sadolin Classic, and then saw a reference to say it is used when following with Sadolin Extra. The Extra suggest it should not be used in "abrasive" circumstance. This means it is no good for a climbing frame?
Thanks for any help or pointers
