Stair Bannister Help?

Hi folks. Just a silly question. I am getting rid of my current Bannister as it is in bad shape. It is a mop stick style currently in place with spindles like these

I was just wondering if I can use brackets like these on this type of handrail and if so what size of brackets would I need?

yes provided the fixing plate will fit into the 41mm infill slot
