Hi guys, I'll try to be as clear as possible. I am just about to lower the ceiling of my staircase to run down parallel to the stairs as at present its just a huge space that you cant even reach to paint etc! When I marked it out from ceiling height upstairs to ceiling height downstairs I could clearly see that it wasn't parallel at all and Infact is 1ft off at the bottom. What I am thinking of now is just taking it up at the bottom so it looks the same and having a 1ft price of wall at the bottom which I'll maybe put a picture on etc! Just wondering has anyone ever done this and does it look ok? Maybe a picture if you have one. Hope I was clear enough.
