Hello,
I'm attempting repair of a slate steading roof. I need to remove the bottom 4 rows in areas to replace the sarking, and in others repair a few holes and missing slates. My problem is that the slates are double nailed at the top edge making it impossible to swing them out the way..
Does anyone have knowledge of this style of Scottish Roofing, and how I'd go about it?
Thanks
