Since changing our conventional boiler to a combi, the bathroom gets so steamy that I can't see more than 2 feet infront of me after using the shower. The shower fitting is a simple mixer tap on the bath and I (think I) changed the shower head to one suitable for all types of shower system.

Could the shower head really make much difference? - ie. maybe I didn't get the correct one! If so can anyone recommend a particular head?

I have installed an extractor fan and do keep the window open as much as possible, but it doesn't make much difference.

It tends to happen in colder weather, more than because of a replaced boiler. Assuming there isnt actually steam coming out of the shower head, which would be a problem, you probably shouldnt worry. Try putting the radiators on in the bathroom - the hotter air will prevent steam forming.

i would like to echo that remark. while our heating wasn't working (so bathroom freezing not just cold) we had bucket fulls of staem, rads now working , no staem.

I also put a 2nd fan in line with the first as small fans tend to be too feeble
