Hi everyone
I've had an architect come round to draw up some initial plans as I feel I won't get the same service if I used an 'all in one' loft conversion company
He's come back to me stating the conversion will require SIX steel / RSJ beams?!
Is this normal?
I had several others around before settling with this architect and the most that was ever mentioned was 3 possibly 4 to support the chimney stack
Could someone here who's had a similar style conversion advise?
To help things along, I have a 3 bedroom victorian mid terrace, and the second dormer will be come across to the rear side addition of the property
Any help here would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
