Nearly finished building our back steps but the wife has now decided she wants the top step a little bit higher, this will now be less than 150mm below the DPC.
I haven't built this yet as I want to be sure that this is acceptable as it is only a step and that this wont cause us any a: Damp Problems and b: Survey problems if and when we come to sell.
The step will be quite big - approx 68cm deep, again, will this add problems as it will be deeper than the over-hang of the roof offering less protection from splashback?
