Hello everyone, I'm looking for some advice on a project I'm working on. I need to build a step up from some paving I'm doing. While the paving is at the correct depth from the DPC, the step will need to be installed above it. This step is underneath the bifold doors and will not pass them to eliminate the chance of splashing above the DPC.
My plan is to extend the air bricks under the step and put a DPM between the house and the step. Will this be satisfactory for building surveyors and ensuring that the DPC is not compromised?
Thank you in advance for your help and expertise!
