Hi all,

I've had some plasterboard dot and dabbed onto an now internal brick wall (was an external brick wall wrap around extension). The plasterboard luckily not plastered yet, has started to come loose and away from the brick but only in certain areas like top corner etc.

Is there any work around for this other than taking it down? Can I drill through into it and apply a sealant like say CT1?

Thanks

Yes. It does expand slightly, but nothing like normal foam - just keep an eye on it for 10 minutes with a straight edge - it you find it pushing the board out slightly just push the straight edge against it for a couple of minutes.

Done loads. Dot and dab loose.
10mm holes
Foam gun with mastic tube nozzle shoved on end.
Blast foam in.
Fill with toupret powder
Sand and paint.
