studded out a wall in the kitchen to hide pipes and replace surface sockets etc..
I've boarded the top half with plywood so I've got a good fixing for the uppers, but I'll need to tile between uppers and countertop..
can I stick the tiles to the plywood with normal adhesive? or what about something like no more nails?
would priming and painting the board first be a good idea?

Bit of pva won't do it any harm. Then normal flexible adhesive will be fine.

if your buying a better adhesive it will already have a primer mixed in.
