Stop clinking off these pipes?

Hi

Found a leak here in one of these pipes. When the heating comes on (or is cooling down) the pipes are noisy. They look pretty close to me?

Is there anything you could recommend to do to stop the creaking/ clinking? The plumber is coming Monday to fix leak, any ideas?

The noise you describe is usually from pipes rubbing against the joists rather than each other. The solution is to pull up your floors and install hair felt roll between the pipes and the joists
