Hello all,

I am looking to remove my own bath and pedestal basin however not at the same time as getting the new ones installed.

Is it safe to turn off the internal stop tap to remove them and then once removed turn back on, or is that going to cause leaks with there not being anything connected?

We aren't using the bathroom at all as the house is empty. Is it better to just leave the stop tap turned off?

Thank you for any help.

Turn off stop tap and boiler (if you have one) open other taps to relieve pressure and drain pipes then remove bath and basin. Use stop ends to cap pipe work in case you need water back on at some stage.
