Stopcock - 22mm

Hi,

I'm trying to source a good quality 22mm stopcock for my airing cupboard.

There are loads of cheap 22mm stopcocks online, but they all seem to be unbranded and I'm concerned about the quality.

Any recommendations?

Get a full bore lever valve. If quality is a major problem (lack of use is the real killer) then buy Peglar.

Do you mean a Gate Valve?
Pegler all the way.
Or a FBLV

Cheap lever valves are also the "spawn of the devil"...
Hattersley/Crane are better than any lever valve by a long shot..
Jet lever valves and the like are absoloute pants.

I attach a picture of the current stopcock - it's on the cold water feed to our Megaflo.



I think the consensus of replies suggest not replacing like for like and to go for a full bore lever valve. Is this acceptable for a Megaflo system?

Yes, it's seized and the handle is broken too!

I'm getting the Megaflo combination valve replaced that sits about 40cm above this, so it's a good time to replace this too.
