Hiya

We have storage heaters in our property which are old and bulky. If we wanted to replace them with newer ones are we allowed to do a diy? There is no heating in the kitchen so none required there, we have an open living room, stairs and landing. There is 1 big and 1 small in the living room (replace with same or just 1 big or maybe 2 small?) 1 small on landing and 1 small in our bedroom. Our daughters room has a panel heater and the bathroom has a fan heater mounted on the wall near the ceiling that doesnt work anyway and we need to replace! So we would need approx 3-4 storage heaters.

Also any recommendations on nice ones to buy that arent too expensive (I know we are looking at a couple of hundred each at least).

Thanks!!

If your existing heaters were made before a certain year they may well contain asbestos, if you do a search on here it has been discussed before.
I think ther may be a link to more info
