hello everyone,
i am in the process of building an external store, i dont need planning permission but my neighbour has asked how high im going with it and i said why,they complained so i said id comprimise, now this creates a problem regarding the roof as i wanted to put slate on it in keeping with the house.
Does anyone know of a lightweight strong good looking rubber compound with a slate effect as i cant reach the 30 degree angle i was originally looking for, any other suggestions and links to websites would be fab.

You can go up to 4 metres tall without planning permission, with a pitched roof. I know the regs change from district to district but I'm fairly sure that is the general regulation. My 5 x 6 garage is 4 metre tall and I have a letter from the local council bods telling me it doesn't need planning permission.

Have a look at Marley tiles as they have a bunch of 'fake slate' tiles and similar stuff that can go down to fairly low pitches Ibelieve.
