Got my first ever government alert on the mobile. Was sitting perusing the net and thought 'what the feck is that noise?' at first thought it was coming from the computer, then realised it was my phone.

I'm (just) in the red alert zone for this one, hopefully won't be too bad!

Seriously, I happened to look up toward my chimney earlier (not the best), and asked my youngest sprog, not to park too close to the house.

Stuck in Dublin, was meant to be flying home early this morning. Hoping to get a flight out tonight.

It was windy for sure here at about 4am.

Few people trying to check back into hotel today as I checked in. flights cancelled . But hotels saying fully booked. Big tour operators will have booked up all spare rooms.... Took longer to book into hotel than to get through security at the airport.
