Stove Tiling

Hi I am trying to work out if I can tile the closure plate. This is 400mm above my log burner. It’s made of cement board. The sides are the same and it’s double sided so it only has sides no front or back. I have tiled the sides using stove approved tiles and heat proof adhesive. But the closure plate needs tiling to finish it off. Thanks for any help.
