I've an old Stoves Newhome gas cooker whose clicker has stopped working.
I am using a cigarette lighter at the moment.
Any idea if its normally the switch or the ignition module?
I've checked the mains power socket and the fuse, they seem to be OK.
Kindly refer to the pictures and advise the repair if possible.
Many thanks.

My guess would be that all that rust is either shorting the ignitor or stopping it conducting to earth. Have to admit just a guess but cleaning it won't harm.
