Hi
This morning I took the angle grinder to the remains (aluminium frame) of a long broken double glazed unit to ready it to take to the tip for metal scrap.
When I cut into it a lot of odd brown granular material started pouring out a bit like a very fine cat litter.
I'm assuming this is just a harmless filler material but I'd be interested to know what it is if anyone knows.
Thankyou !
Also I'd suggest if anyone is thinking of doing the same they might want to think again cause the stuff goes everywhere. I think in retrospect I would have been better off just trying to fold it up and keeping it sealed.
