I have a picture of a problem where my subfloor is not level. I want to lay a new oak floor perpendicular to the old floor.

The floor to the right of the concrete is 10mm higher than the floor to the left of the concrete. This will create a weakness in the boards joining at that point. The boards are 85mm wide.

The photo doesn't really show it.

I was wondering what the recommended action would be here?

Is the stone in the middle also 10mm higher? if so i'd be thinking of cutting strips of batton on the low section in steps to ramp down/fade the difference.. wont notice it over a few meters.. like a 10mm strip... then 8.. 6mm etc

unfortunately the concrete section is also not straight or level.
That's why in the photo it's hard to see. It's a cap for the old masonry wall foundation underneath.

When they were leveling it - they just drew it flush with the timbers each side - so it slopes right to left.

I like the fillet idea - thanks allot.
