Hi All
Hoping for some guidance.
I need to create a set of timber steps in my garden. The total rise is about 1600.
I have only found 1 company that sell pre made stringers large enough to do the job......and they want to add a huge delivery charge that makes buying from them a no go (total cost would come in at around £80 per stringer)
How do I go about making the stringers? So far my understanding is use 12 x 2, and then work out the relevant cuts. The problem is I have absolutely no idea how to go about doing this properly!
I would like the steps to be between 900 and 1200 wide, and therefore think I need 4 stringers in total. (Maximum 450 between?!?). Can someone confirm this is correct?
Any input is much appreciated.
Cheers
