stripping paint off a radiator

Hello

Whats the best way of stripping paint off a radiator? The paint is full of runs and wondered if stripping would be easier than sanding them.

Use a Nitromores type product as a heat gun wont work.All it will do is heat the water up inside and you cannot get the paint off.Much easier with liquid stipper just make sure you give it a good clean afterwards to remove any residue.

Will I need to prime the radiator before painting? If so, could you recommend one ?

Any oil based primer or undercoat will do prior to your topcoats going on.
