I have an 8m (l) x 2m (w) raised frame with joists at 400 centres. I plan to lay artificial grass on most of it (some stones/plant pots to break it up).
The idea is to scatter cushions on it in summer so it can be used as a bench/area to lay down under the tree branches above.
I'm unsure what would be the best option for the structural deck here. Since it wont be seen aesthetics are not important. Ideally i'd like to divert water away from the area below, so roofing boarding would be the simplest option. But Marine Ply will get expensive, I presume OSB3 will rot even if I soak it in bitumen and cant think of any other cost effective solutions.
Any ideas, other then decking it then adding corrugated sheeting underneath?
