Structural issue with lintels

Can someone please adivse if I need a structural engineer to look at the support requirements above the external door shown in the attached photo.

Although the lintel would have sufficient bearing within an existing wall; I have concerns that the the direct abutment between the doorjamb and the existing building may be inadequate to support the above wall.

In addition, the contractor is proposing to use cg90 open back catnic lintel (standard duty) - will this suffice?

I would appreciate your advice asap.

It's all normal, there will be no problems with that situation or the lintel

I originally designed it as a single storey extension; now all of a sudden the client wants another floor.
