Hi. I want to replace the electric shower in my bathroom.
I laid wooden flooring upstairs a couple of years ago, so ripping it up to re-plumb is not my favourite option!!

Ideally, I'd like to install a thermostatic power shower (with integral pump) but the feed to the bathroom is C/W mains and H/W gravity, as is all the house. The H/W tank is 134 litres and gravity fed by a 25 gallon C/W tank (less than 1metre head above shower outlet).

I've looked at the Trevi Boost venturi shower which seems ideal except it doesn't seem to be thermostatically controlled. :?:

Is there any way I can install say, a Mira Event XS and fit a reducer/restictor on the mains C/W supply? My understanding is that regs state mains C/W can't be pumped, but hopefully the pressure would just be REDUCED and not pumped?

Would this work in principal or has anyone any other ideas. :?:
Any help/advice or constructive comments greatly appreciated.
Cheers, Howard

how will it if the showers fitted with an integral pump.
can't be done.
fit it as the mi's tell you to fit it.

run a pipe from the cws to supply the shower.
