Stud Walls

I have an interior wall which i wish to remove, which is wood post/noggins and covered in plasterboard. It runs parallel to a load bearing wall which is about 1 metre away. There is another stud wall directly above it which runs in the same direction. Will i be alright to take it out, or who should i ask to see if has any load bearing function. Should i get a builder or a structural surveyor in?

Basically just common sense,your stud walls should not be a load bearing wall,but as they are so many cowboys best to check it from the top and work your way down to make sure to see what is resting on what.
