i have one of these Crosswater Glide taps in my nearly finished bathroom.

http://www.qssupplies.co.uk/bathroom-furniture-shower-taps/7462.htm

Just took a break from working in the bathroom and came back to find that the floor was soaked.

It seems that if the lever is knocked slightly it will allow the water to come out of the spout at too low a rate. rather than falling into the sink it runs down the body and over the top of the sink.

Nice one Crosswater!!!

Yes I can see why that would happen - looks nice tho`. ;)

If anything this post could be a warning about buying this style of tap, and others, which are essentially form over function. It's a shame because as Nigef said, it is a nice looking tap

They have milled a horizontal groove under the spout for drips but evidently it is not deep enough.

The main reason for posting was to help people googling the tap.

Maybe I should make the sink p!ssed so that the water will flow back into it...
