Hi all.
We're coming to the end of our garden project and the last job is getting artificial grass purchased and installed.
Because of all the other work, we're left with approx 3 ton of a mixture of sharp sand and aggregate mix of gravel and sand.
Would mixing all this left over mound be useful for the sub base (on top of soil) if wacker plated?
Don't to do a bodge job but it would be so much easier than barrowing 3 ton to a skip.
Many thanks in advance.....
Alway get great advice on the forums.

Yes, that would be fine as top layer.
Compact it properly and you'll be fine.

Thanks Johnny2007 - that's a big relief and will save us some barrowing through the kitchen again :)

I've done mine with 2 inches of sharp sand thinking it would get bumpy, but after a few months it's still perfect.

You could do it the easy way, and use decking!
