Hi, will be laying solid wood flooring in lounge, the floor has a bitumen type membrane on top of the concrete floor for damproofing, would the adhesive have an adverse effect on this or not? ie would it react with the damproofing and not stick. Thanks in advance..

You need to do a floor prep before you try to stick to it. ( primer + levelling compound)
