I have noticed over the last couple of weeks with the glorious weather that the hoodies are still moping around with their black hoodies still up while everybody is wearing tshirts.....my god they must be sweating...is this a new fad or are they just that thick to realise its summer???

I'm still having to wear a coat at times because of the cold wind. I also suspect they realise its not summer yet and want to display a certain level of intelligence which at times the hood covers up. :D
Summer starts in June not when some people think in March when the clocks go forward. So, they are right to show some contempt for the British weather.

Sadly Liverpool has its fair share of hoodies, kids will just wear what everyone else is wearing doesn't mean they are all scum bags

If you were that age would you want to be different and get bullied or just roll with what's popular

I generally wear a cap, to keep my long hair at bay, and the season has been windy of late, so wear a hoodie, to keep my cap in place, and prevent it blowing off.

When you have a ponytail, some excess hair, will roam free, in a high wind, and inevitably go into the mouth, which causes me to gag. So a cap, put's measure to that, usually. 100 years ago, it was the fashion to wear a hat, I'd wear a top hat, if my fashion covered it, as I wear a waistcoat, complete with pocket watch...by eck, chief, you know you need a pocket watch boss.

Short haircuts, result in itch scalp, frequent hairwashes, 3 a day? dry scalp, urgh!

Personally I think 'hoodies' feel quite vulnerable without their attire.

Has anyone else noticed how when there's a group of them they walk slowly with some sort of limp, arms swinging as if to say "come on then". When they're alone it's head down, arms by their sides and nearly running.

The things you'll do to prevent you from getting a job eh Micky?

I may not have a job, but I have a life, you might try to get one yourself Joe, instead of posting snide comments.,before you recant with some more snide comment, I've been in A&E for the last 24 hours plus, as my fiancee took a fall, and split her head open, so I'm really not in the mood Joe, for your silly little jibes. Find some hole to crawl into, weasel, and stop making bullying comments online.

I was reading the other day of two robbers in 1920s Chicago, they lost their hats in the scuffle when robbing a liquor store.
Legging it down the road hoping to disappear in the crowds, they headed for the nearest hat shop. They knew without hats they would be spotted straight away by the cops.
Unfortunately for them the cops knew this and nicked them in the hat shop... :D

The weather is glorious today and they are still at it......jeez....one guy even had a big black coat on with the hood pulled over and his neck covered up like he is in siberia...........these thickos must be really sweating just to be stylish !!!!!!!!!!!

Down my local a few months ago and a group of teenagers came in with the regulation hoodies. Landlord asked for proof of their ages, which they supplied (couple of driving licenses and some of those age card things teenagers and students have). Landlord served them, but withheld their change until the hoodies were taken off their heads. One complained that it was unfair to withhold their change so landlord told him, either take the hoodie off or consider yourself barred. Couple of regulars approached the bar and told this youth in no uncertain terms that either the hoodie comes off his head or he'll be having some cut price dental work done.
They all took the hoodies off, sat in the corner as quiet as church mice.
They still come in to the local, but now don't wear hoodies when they come in.

I can understand the above but me being in my sixties I fell out with a local landlord who insisted I remove my trilby or he wouldn't serve me.
I told him to stuff it.I would remove my hat in a restaurant but not in the bar of a backstreet pub...CCTV or not.
