Sump pump

I've just bought a Draper sump pump.

Instructions give info on everything except how to connect a pipe up to the outlet.

There's an 1-1/4" spigot on the outlet, so I tried an 1-1/4" lay-flat type hose, but when it's under pressure it's like an iron bar and won't bend (which I need it to do).

I need to put this into a permanent set-up in a cellar, so looking for something a bit flexible for getting around difficult corners.

It about an 8m run, so any suggestions? (Gratefully received).

Or rigid ABS or PVC pipe and fittings sold for garden ponds and swimming pools for the fixed pipework. It's a heavier duty version of the solvent weld plastic waste pipe for baths and basins etc. Use a short flexible tail to connect to pump.

Try garden centres, aquatics suppliers and swimming pool supplies.
