I moved to an old house that has an oil boiler with Sunvic SP50 programmer. Does anyone has a manual that can share it with me please?? I’m attaching a photo of it here. Thanks
I think the Sunvic SP 50 uses a standard back plate, so easy to swap for modern like Drayton Wiser or Hive, but as @ianmcd points out, oil boilers were often thermo-syphon or the C plan and it is not possible to to run central heating without domestic hot water, there were micro switches and physical slides which could be set to stop the user selecting a program which would not work.
They were called 16 programs normally but 10 when using C Plan, I always thought it was a cheat as the counted off as a program.
It seems everything is designed for gas, so today often the programmers don't have the options to lock off central heating only, so people buy them then complain DHW still running.
