Hi,
I'm looking to install a replacement electric shower over the bath. The supply pipe to the current shower unit is buried in the plaster but I understand that this is not considered acceptable anymore. Is this correct?
If burying the pipe in the wall isn't an option is there a standard method to get around this?
My initial thought was to attach a panel of 15mm ply directly to the wall (at the end of the bath) with a groove cut into it to take the pipe and then tile over the top. Would that work or is it fatally flawed?
Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
