Hi all,
I am making a desktop using IKEA kitchen worktop (635mm x 2300mm x 40mm).
The worktop will be supported at each end on 400mm units with 600mm depth. I need the bridging gap in order to get an electric piano under there.
Question is am I better to use 2 or 3 right angle masonry type braces along the unsupported length or to run batten for the full length.
Secondly is the 1.5m of unsupported front likely to have any issues?
Thanks
Iain
