Hi
The previous owners of our house removed a chimney breast in the bathroom, but did not support the associated brickwork above ceiling height.
the chimney breast would not have been very large and is positioned in the corner of the room where two supporting walls meet.
I'd be very grateful if someone could let me know how to rectify this and a rough idea of the costs involved? I presume some kind of steel reinforcement is required in the loft?
