Supporting wall removal

Just taken away a supporting wall. Acro's now in place. Unfortunately I have dislodged the two coarses of bricks, which are supposed to be between the proposed steels & the wooden wall plates.

There are two steels to be fitted. One on the supporting coarse & the other one on the outside coarse, for a future planned flat roof extension.

IS IT OK to raise the steels location, so that the steel supports the wall plates without the two coarses of bricks between?

Yes you can lift the beams no problem.

But if this means that they are then exposed externally then you need to deal with that

Put some mortar on the beam first if necessary, as this can remove any unevenness in the plate

Thanks for the reply.

Unfortunately I won't be able to achieve the same height on the external coarse beam.

Do you think it will be best to relay the missing two coarses on top of the beam?
