Hi took out part of an interior wall (around 3ft) in my flat when doing some alterations. As it was made of timber I assumed it would be non supporting but after reading some posts am not so sure. The flat has a stone wall running through the centre of it which I think is the supporting structure can anyone advise. Thanks Bill

3 foot out of a stud wall isn`t much more than a doorway ;)

Stud walls are not classed as load-bearing ( unless they have been beefed up ), so it will be ok.
Hi The part of the wall I removed seemed to be constructed of quite thick wood, thicker than normal modern materials, saying this the flat is part of a 4story block which is around 100 yers old, did the over engineer things then and would they definetley not use any interior wood consructed lathing plaster walls as a supporting structure. thaks Bill
