Suprima 50HE boiler ignition lock, with spark but no flame

Hi all

My Suprima 50HE got ignition lockout and cannot fix by resetting. may i have some advice please?

Have sparks at ignition electrode, but no spark at sensing electrode. No fame and no gas smell. Have fan sounds and several ignite attempts.

My gas cooking hob works makes it sense that gas supply is ok

You don't get a spark at the sensing electrode, you get a flame to sense - if it's working. Flames condust lectric, one way.

Job for a registered Gas man, because if you changed bits to make it work, it would need tests you won't be able to do yourself.
You "shouldn't" have removed the cover.
