Suspended ceiling

A plaster board ceiling, I plan to have a suspended below this another ceiling kind of a double ceiling effect. With lighting on the 2nd ceiling.
The suspended ceiling would be from a light wood no thicker than 0.8cm, what can I use to hold this 2nd ceiling onto plaster board main ceiling?

what size is the span !!!!!!

what size is the void between the ceilings!!!

are you talking sheet material or tounge and groove planks!!!!!

youll probably need a substantial frame to stop sagging or twisting

it would span 2 mtrs 80 by 2mtrs 80 Apx
the void between the ceiling will be Apx 6cm .

i want to have the end look kinda like this but not as thick and so far way from the ceiling.
