hi,

not technically DIY but...............

........just wondered if anybody had any data sheets/ info on swa armour resistances for 2,3,4 core swa? or overall diameters for swa cables.

rang a manufacturer yesterday but he never got back to me.

cant find any armour resistance info anywhere on the net.

that gives the armor CSA, you'd also need to know the resistivity of the steel to calculate the resistance of the armor.

im after what plugs on about, the resistance of the armour ( doing some install where the cpc will be the armour) so knowing the resistances of the armour can help me calculate the R2, EFLI...

those tables are quite handy though, saves getting the calculater out..

That table was circulating a year or so ago, in spreadsheet form - (I remember editing it to add the green/red go/no-go formatting to it), and at the time there was a mistake in one or two of the armour resistance figures....
