Swann DP850A Doorphone Intercom

Hi,
Can anyone help please.
I had the above doorphone intercom installed by an electrician.
Everthing works fine except for one huge problem.
When the buzzer on the handset goes and I pick up the handset to talk to the caller the caller can hear me loud and clear but I cannot hear the callers voice.
Any help would be appreciated.

Probably the microphone in the panel or speaker in the handset, get the electrian back..then again it is swann!
