I'd like to swap the euro locks in a set of PVC double doors but upon further inspection it seems that on the passive side the screw to remove the lock is underneath the latch mechanism and can't be accessed.

Will I need to remove the whole mechanism to swap the lock?

Thanks

Technically you will need to remove the glass to the slave door to access 4 or 5 screws that are holding the flying mullion onto the door, once the mullion is removed you can access the screw that retains the euro cylinder

Welcome to my world, why manufacturers are screwing mullions on from the glazing side all of a sudden instead of the outside is beyond me
