Would it be possible to swap this Syphon for something like this? I want to use the handle option instead of push button

Yes it would. Fluidmaster do flapper valves which work with handles.

Yes the problem is it's got an external over flow leaving the toilet. However it's not piped up at all. So if the toilet over flowed it would just go on to the floor

So was going to fit one of the above valves as its got an internal over flow. Then I can blank the external one.

Poke your finger into the overflow in the cistern and push the float valve down so that it keeps filling, does it overflow into the toilet?

Could test that then adjust the Syphon height? At what height should it overflow?

Most of those are easy to swap and locate with a pin inside the cistern

Yes I no how to take apart but even if that did have an over flow on the Syphon it's too high near the cistern lid

Yeah I'd have to put a new one in with internal over flow or just go for the Vivo one
