Swivel mixer tap problem

Hi all - I have a MFI mixer tap from around 2002. It's constantly running so I need to change the cartridge. Problem is - I can't get the swivel handle off. I've taken out the little hot/cold cover to expose what should be eithe a screw or a Allen key grub screw. However, inside my tap there seems to be a empty 3mm hole. So now I'm stuck as to how to get this off. Can someone help me please?
