anybody know where i can get an old round rubber syphon diaphragm
washer for a shire syphon

take the old one to Plumb Center or local plumbing merchants.

travis perkins / plumb center / william wilson or bes seem to stock or seem to be able to get them


does anyone have any other solutions

cant you just replace the syphon or is it the actual bit for a syphonic toilet i.e between the cistern and pan.

unfortunately its an old cistern and is a weird shape
and does not have the room for a new syphon even the toilet handle has to work upside down so you push it up instead of pulling down
the customer said it was from france its also a nice pearlecent blue so cant just change toilet either ( corner bath & large vanity basin )
