My washing machine waste is plumbed into the main sink outlet and I am getting siphonage from the sink. Is there a way of preventing this without having to install a separate waste pipe for the machine
route the drain hose so that it comes out of the spigot, goes up as high as possible (as high as the sink overflow at least) and then down to the machine.
