andrew - if you can't afford what aw quite rightly identifies as the BEST tackle for the job (£85ish for that DeWalt) then cheaper types of his selection can be had (Screwfix are doing one for £25). If you only have a smallish amount of flooring to cut, consider a hardpoint handsaw from one of the sheds (£5 for a cheapo & maybe £10 for something branded).
Thanks guys - much as i would love to have DeWalt staring back at me when i open my tool cupboard i'm afraid Black & Decker is about the limit of my budget. Think i'll treat myself to a new TCT blade for my circular saw and then i should be laughing!!
