Hi, I've got the following issue.
Tado is connected to Baxi (Duo-Tec Compact E 1.24) via OT. The domestic hot water is stored in a water tank and is heated up twice per day. So there are two 45 minutes long 'windows' when dhw is heated in the morning and evening. Everything is fine except one bug: at the end of the dhw heating window the boiler is already off as the water is heated up to 45 Celsius in 30ish minutes. When the 45 minutes is reached the boiler starts up and starts producing hot water for 10 seconds. This two unnecessary burn isn't good for the boiler. Tado experts said that it is a bug for their side and what happens is that when the dhw window is reached Tado instructs the boiler to fallback to the default dhw temperature (55 C) for 10 seconds. So naturally two solution arise:
- Tado will fix the issue. It did not happen in 3 months.
- the default 55 C dhw temp should be set to lower temp on the boiler. Big question is: how on earth can I do that? The dhw buttons don't work in OT mode. Unplugging the OT wires make the boiler display connection errors with also not-functioning buttons.
Thank you in advance.
