Hi, i am trying to set up Tado Wireless which will be replacing Danfoos Rx1. My boiler is Vailant ecotec pro 28.

I'm a little confused, as the danfoos has two wires for L and N going in. Can someone help me figure this out please.

Attaching pics for reference.

Usually one set of live and neutral come in from the fused spur, and the second set will go out to the boiler. So the terminals are being used as a junction box. It's not unusual.

The two sets simply move the the live and neutral terminals at the Tado

Terminal 1 doesn't have a use according to the RX 1 wiring diagram below, so it looks to have been used in the same manner to join the earth wires.

The black and grey wires are the switching / control wires.
